The Greenport Maritime Festival is one of the North Fork’s biggest recurring village events and the clearest example of Greenport leaning into its seaport identity. Shellabration has been one of Greenport’s more distinctive colder-weather events, built around local seafood, restaurant pairings, and support for marine restoration work. The Mattituck Strawberry Festival is one of the North Fork’s classic summer events and one of the most recognizable town-centered traditions on this side of Long Island.
