Why people go
Aldo’s opened in 1987, founded by Aldo Maiorana. In 2023, Aldo retired and sold the business to Joshua Sommer, Taylor Klemm, Scott Rose, and Tora Matsuoka, four friends with young families on the East End who wanted to protect what made Aldo’s special while carrying it into its next chapter.

How to work it into a North Fork day
Aldo’s Coffee Company works well as part of a Greenport day. Build it into the route with nearby restaurants, shops, wineries, farm stands, beaches, or village walks depending on where you are headed.
NoFo Times note
Aldo’s is one of those places that helps Greenport feel like Greenport. The biscotti are part of the experience, but do not overlook the scones and croissants. They are excellent, especially with coffee in the morning. Aldo’s has changed hands, but the best thing about the new chapter is that the people who took it over seem to understand what they inherited.
